CitySex.com is a cheap fake that doesn’t even try to make itself look believable online.
The site is riddled with obvious lies EVERYWHERE, which should be your first indication that CitySex is a SCAM.
So, what lies are we talking about? Is CitySex really the #1 voted website online? Is it really 100% free? Let’s take a closer look at why we think this site is full of crap.
CitySex.com Review: Here’s Why CitySex.com Didn’t Make It Into Our Top 5 for Sex Dating Sites
Everything you read on CitySex.com is a lie, first of all.
For one thing, we love when you first sign on, and immediately it just says, “Voted the #1 sex site!”
By who? There’s no link to a poll, no saying who voted on this. Even if they’d included a link to a poll of other CitySex.com members, that would have been more legitimate, but they’re just making things up as they go along and hoping that nobody notices.
Then, CitySex.com claims to be “100% free!”
There ARE some free hookup websites, so we were cautiously optimistic (although in our opinion, most of the BEST websites do charge members a fee for joining).
Of course, this is just another outright lie. CitySex.com is not free. It charges the same for membership as any other site. Yes, you can get a basic membership for free, but it’s completely unusable. Why would you ever want a website where you can’t send or receive messages from anyone online?
Literally the minute we signed up, before we even had a chance to put up a profile picture, we got messages from about a dozen women, all with supermodel-looking pictures, begging us to upgrade to full member status so we could communicate.
Listen, CitySex.com. We know we have game. We don’t need you to fake it so hard.
This is basically like a woman faking an orgasm by throwing herself off the bed screaming. Calm down, you’re just making yourself look stupid, and you’re probably going to hurt yourself.
Our Shocking Results After Using CitySex.com For Sex Dating
During our CitySex review, we sent out emails to 540 women, for all the good it did us.
We’re pretty sure we didn’t talk to a single actual legit woman. We got 48 replies, and the vast majority of them were just spam. It wasn’t even good spam or sexy spam (is there such a thing as sexy spam?), it was just girls sending out confusing messages that were obviously not written by someone who speaks English as a first language.
We didn’t set up a single date.
If you’re thinking that 48 emails back is a good number (even if they are sexy spam), think again! On SocialSex, our FAVORITE website for hooking up and online dating, we sent out the EXACT same number of emails to women, and we got back 441 replies!
We also got laid by that one on dozens of women, so yeah, we might be just a LITTLE biased (for good reason).
Here’s Why CitySex.com Is Not Worth Joining: Is CitySex.com a Scam?
Look, we’re not kids. We know that people and websites lie on the Internet. We’re not naïve, and we’ve come to expect this kind of thing from the world in general and the Internet specifically.
We’re kind of at the point where we’re just asking you not to be so OBVIOUS about it.
If you want to say you have millions of members, yeah, it’s probably bullshit, but at least that’s somewhat believable. The problem isn’t when you make generalized lies like that, it’s in the specific, obviously unprovable lies that you make yourself look dumb.
One member of our group was traveling for business at the time he loaded up CitySex.com. He was in a very small town for the night, a place of about 800 people, and he signed on to CitySex.com.
Immediately, the site told him that there were THOUSANDS OF MEMBERS online in that little town.
The thing about lying is that it has to be somewhat believable. It’s like how no one believes the kid who comes to school and tells everyone his father is Batman, but he could probably get away with saying his father is a millionaire…as long as he doesn’t dress like the bad end of Goodwill.
CitySex.com doesn’t even try. This site knows it’s full of crap, and it doesn’t care if you know it, too.
Basically, the site feels like a placeholder.
These ties originate in Southeast Asia and Eastern Europe, and they’re a WAY bigger business than you think.
If 10,000 guys sign up for these sites each, and each of them are paying $100 for three months, these guys are getting away with over a million dollars just for existing.
They take advantage of horny guys who’ll subscribe to just about any site that promises to get them laid, because these guys don’t know the difference between a decent site and a crappy site, and they can’t tell whether CitySex (and sites like it) are good or bad.
As soon as they get fingered by the authorities, the site comes down, then goes back up under another name. Don’t run to see CitySex.com, it’ll be back under a new name soon enough.
The Final CitySex.com Review: Did We Think You Should Use CitySex.com For Sex Dating?
CitySex.com is more full of crap than a plastic bag at a dog park. We can’t recommend highly enough that you stay away and do not give these people your money or your information. They will not treat it right!
Instead, try SocialSex. That’s our top pick as far as sex dating sites go, and we guaranteed you’ll get laid there!
